Here is a little bit of the Clemson players perspective heading into Saturday’s game against Boston College. The players seem to have moved past the tough loss to Georgia Tech and, at least on the surface, appear upbeat and focused on the Eagles.
Kyle Parker always seems like he has ice running through his veins. I don’t think I have ever seen him show a ton of emotion. Not good or bad. That probably comes from baseball. The old adage in baseball is on a scale of one to 10 you always want to keep it on a constant 7. Don’t get too high. Don’t get too low. Swinney said Parker did get excited (in a good way) a few times against Georgia Tech but by and large he keeps his emotions in check. I think that is a good trait for a quarterback. Most of the great ones seem to have this demeanor.

One of the guys Parker will be looking for early and often Saturday is Jacoby Ford. Ford had a rough start to the season with a couple of drops against Middle Tennessee but he bounced back with a solid game against Georgia Tech. There aren’t many people in the ACC or the country for that matter that can match Ford’s speed. He should be able to create some mismatches against B.C. this weekend.
