For the first time this year, we were joined by Lee Sterling from Paramount Sports to break down the weekend slate of college football games.

Sterling gave us his thoughts on South Carolina going against ECU with a banged-up Connor Shaw, Clemson’s home opener with Ball State, Missouri’s SEC initiation versus Georgia and Florida’s trip to College Station to battle Texas A&M.

Sportstalk Rewind 1.24.12: USC’s Darrin Horn

The USC basketball team has struggled getting it into gear in  SEC play.  Thus far the Gamecocks are win-less in 4 league games, and are welcoming Alabama to the Colonial Life Arena Wednesday night. 

Today USC Head Coach, Darrin Horn,  discussed with the media what areas his team needs to improve in to get that first league W, and preview the crimson Tide.  USC and Alabama will tip-off in Columbia tomorrow night at 8:00.

SportsTalk Rewind 11.17.12: Tulsa World’s John Hoover

The biggest story in the college football world around the state is the opening at the Defensive Coordinator position in the upstate.  Two names have been swirling for a couple of days, one of them being former Miami head man, Randy Shannon.  The other would be Co-Defensive Coordinator at Oklahoma, Brent Venables.

Clemson prepares to host Duke (AUDIO)

The Clemson Tigers look to rebound after a tough conference loss on the road at Boston College. The Tigers will welcome the Duke Blue Devils to Littlejohn Coliseum Sunday night, as Clemson looks to improve to 2-1 in the ACC. The Blue Devils lead the overall series 103-29 and have won the past three meetings. Tipoff is at 6:00 and the game will be televised on ESPNU.
