Monte Lee went the distance with SportsTalk.
Although he was only booked for a single segment on the show, Lee ended up on talking almost the entire second hour. Lee had lots to say about the Tigers this season from the early season winning streak to the rough patch of play before the post season.
Now that the season is complete Lee got the chance to talk about his players that made it to the MLB and what he expects from them in the professional league.
But the big hitting question came from his thoughts on who should be the next coach for Gamecocks. Lee said he’d always take a call from Ray Tanner but he’s happy at Clemson and doesn’t expect leave the Upstate. He did give advice to the next coach at USC and described what it takes to lead a team to the regionals.
