USC offered 2018 QB Artur Sitkowski (6-4 205) of Matawan, NJ back in the summer and he still considers USC a school on his consideration list. “Yes they are definitely in the mix. I like South Carolina a lot. I haven’t visited a lot of places this season due to my season but I visited South Carolina, North Carolina, Ohio State, Michigan, Florida, Miami, Pitt, Rutgers and Maryland this summer and spring.” One place Sitkowski has visited this season is Rutgers. Some of his other offers are Florida, Miami, North Carolina, Wisconsin, Boston College and Ole Miss.
OL Michael Tarquin (6-5 272) of Ocala, FL said he’s been in recent contact with Clemson and USC. “I have interest from Clemson, South Carolina, Florida, South Florida, FAU, and Michigan State. I’m trying to schedule a visit to South Carolina. And I’ve visited Clemson, FAU, Florida and Michigan State.” Tarquin was at Clemson for the spring game. he has not yet picked up any offers.
TigerIllustrated and Clemson247 both reported Clemson no longer is recruiting safety Markquese Bell of Bridgeton, NJ who was scheduled for an official visit November 12th. The Tigers may have more interest in Xavier McKinney from Roswell, GA or may not take another safety in the class. In particular, Bell was not pleased with some of the Clemson247 report, apparently a line claiming Clemson was his #1 choice, writing in his Twitter account, “This article is a lie. I’ve never said these words ever. I won’t be doing anymore interviews for my words to be twisted around.” He has taken officials to Rutgers and Maryland and is scheduled to visit Ohio State November 26th.
