The Texas A&M players had heard for weeks about how badly they would lose to 9t ranked USC Thursday night in the season’s opener for both teams.  They heard but they never believed it.  And they played that way in embarrassing the Gamecocks 52-28 in front of over 82,.000 fans and a nationwide audience on the SEC Network.

  1. Well,we may not be smart or talented on D,but we make up for it by being real slow. The defense on the field last night aspires to be just inept. If a team doesn’t make a mistake and drop the ball they can score on this years squad every time they get the ball.

  2. In 55 years as a Gamecock fan, that is the worst performance I’ve ever seen. No pass rush, no pass defense, laughable tackling, and no effort. The offense was mediocre at best. If we can’t put any better product on the field than this it’s time do away with the football program. This was beyond embarrassing.
