The SEC Network invaded Columbia again today as part of the launch of the new network at 6:00 PM tonight.  The Gamecocks will be part of the initial programming with live shots from a gathering of fans at Seawell’s.

Two weeks from tonight the SEC Network cameras will be back in town for the first football game on the channel as USC will host Texas A&M.  The Gamecocks have  not yet turned their full attention on the Aggies, that will happen Monday, but they are no doubt lurking in their thoughts.

The Gamecock defense won’t have to worry about Johnny Manziel but the Aggies will still have plenty of offensive firepower that will test Lorenzo Ward’s group right out of the gate.
