We’ve covered every angle of Clemson and USC’s spring practice schedule all the way up to their respective spring games. Now that the dust has settled in Columbia and the upstate, we decided to turn our attention to the FCS programs across the state to get a feel for how their springs went as well.
Tonight we welcomed into SportsTalk S.C. State head football coach Buddy Pough to discuss the Bulldogs’ progress this spring.
Pough provided us with how he ran his spring game, and also told us how he believes his team will have to play this year to win some ball games. He’s looking for his defense to carry the load yet again, and really likes how his running game will be implemented to counterbalance his D.
Pough also went into great detail concerning his signal-caller. Coach Pough lamented that his program is still searching for a guy to provide the type of production that the Bulldogs got from Malcolm Long, for so long, seasons ago.
