Except for some final meetings and perhaps a gameplan adjustment here or there, all the work is complete for USC and Wisconsin for tomorrow’s Capital One Bowl in Orlando.
Today the head coaches met with the media one final time then attended the annual pre-game luncheon at the Hyatt Regency. Both teams will have a walk thru at the Citrus Bowl and then will retire to their hotels to hold their final meets and to rest.
The Gamecocks did suffer an injury in practice Monday as fullback Connor McLaurin broke his foot during a kickoff coverage drill. He will miss the game. Walk-on Garrison Gist will replace him and Brandon Wilds can also play fullback if needed.
Here’s my final thoughts on the game from the Citrus Bowl and below the video you will find the press conferences featuring Steve Spurrier and Gary Anderson.
