To put a bow on another college baseball season, USA Today released their final top 25 coaches’ poll today.  UCLA ranked in at number one after defeating Mississippi State 8-0 in game 2 of the College World Series final last night. The victory gave UCLA its first college baseball national championship in school history.

South Carolina finished the season ranked 12th with a record of 43-20, and Clemson ranked 25th with a record of 40-22. Both the ACC and SEC were well represented in the poll. The ACC fared slightly better, having seven teams compared to five from the SEC.
