USC could use another 38 point performance from Brenton Williams against Mississippi State
USC finished as the 12th seed for the SEC Tournament next week in Nashville and will face #13 seed Mississippi State Wednesday at 7:30 PM Eastern Time. The teams played twice in the regular season each winning on their home court.
The winner of the first round matchup will meet #5 seed Tennessee at 4:30 PM Eastern Thursday.
USC is 16-21 all time in SEC Tournament play including a 2-1 record against the Bulldogs. Their last tournament meeting was in Tampa in 2009, a game the Bulldogs won 82-68.
