Clemson felled by William and Mary Saturday 11-2

William and Mary defeated Clemson 11-2 Saturday behind a 16 hit attack.  It’s the Tribe’s first win ever over Clemson in five meetings.

Tribe starter John Farrell scattered nine hits over seven innings to earn the victory.

Tiger sophomore Patrick Andrews, who made his first career start, took the loss give up five hits and four runs in three innings.

Clemson finished with 10 hits with Shane Kennedy and Jay Baum each having a two hit day.

The three game series is scheduled to conclude Sunday afternoon at Doug Kingsmore Stadium.  First pitch is scheduled for 1:00 PM.
