The USC baseball team has been a participant in the past three College World Series Finals, winning back-to-back titles in 2010 and 2011, before finishing as the runner-up last season.

The Gamecocks will start off the 2013 campaign ranked 7th in the country, and opening weekend is just weeks away.   USC will host Liberty February 15th-17th in Columbia.  USC Pitching Coach, Jerry Meyers, joined Korn and Bill Gunter on SportsTalk First Edition to break down his arms, headed into opening day.

 AUDIO:   Jerry Meyers [9:43]

Meyers will have to do the unthinkable and find a way to replace two Gamecock legends, one at the front of his rotation in Michael Roth, and the closer at the back of his bullpen, Matt Price.  The numbers those two put up, and the success they obtained in their careers, are unparalleled.  Meyers lays out his plan with Phil and the Wild Man.
