Former Clemson running back C.J Spiller is going to make his first trip to the Pro Bowl. The Buffalo Bills tailback is replacing Baltimore’s Ray Rice on the AFC roster. Rice will not play in the game because the Ravens are in the Super Bowl.
Spiller is the first former Clemson running back to play in the Pro Bowl since Terry Allen did it in 1996. Spiller rushed for 1,240 yards with six touchdowns and had another 459 yards receiving with two scores.
Spiller did all of this despite the fact that Bills coach Chan Gailey completely underutilized him. Perhaps this is why Chan Gailey will be watching the Pro Bowl as an unemployed coach.
You can catch the Pro Bowl is this Sunday (1/27) at Aloha Stadium in Hawaii. If making the trip there isn’t possible for you, the game will be televised on NBC at 7:00 PM.

I’ll be the first to admit I didn’t think he would do anything in the NFL. Congratulations to him!
