RB David Williams announced his choice of USC Friday night
Time will tell, but USC may have landed their running of the future Friday night, the running back who may fill the shoes of Marcus Lattimore.
David Williams of Philadelphia, during the broadcast of the Semper-Fidelis All American Bowl in Carson, CA, announced a commitment to USC. He had narrowed his decision to the Gamecocks and Arizona State. He also considered Penn State, Ohio State and Miami.
USC recruiter GA Mangus identified Williams early in the recruiting process as a priority target and Williams quickly moved the Gamecocks to the top of his board. An unofficial visit to USC in the spring was a bonus for the Gamecocks, and the in home visit last month from Steve Spurrier seemed to seal the deal.
