For the final time before they kick it off tomorrow night in the 45th annual Chick-Fil-A Bowl, Clemson coach Dabo Swinney and LSU coach Les Miles met with the media Sunday morning to discuss their teams, the game and each other.
Neither coach shared much insight about game plans or personnel decisions. It was a lighthearted affair with a lot of laughs between the coaches who expressed strong admiration for one another.
This game will be an intriguing match up of two teams located in different sections of the college football spectrum. LSU is an established national power, a recent BCS champion and just a season removed from playing for the championship.
Clemson is still a young program under Swinney with only 11 seniors on this year’s team. Clemson wants to be where LSU is, and Swinney knows a win over Miles Monday night would be a huge step in that direction.
The Falcons are in town Sunday to play the Bucs, but the two groups of Tigers will not attend. Instead, the teams will take a tour of the MLK Museum
