Nuk Hopkins and the Tigers held their final pre-bowl practice Saturday

Saturday in Atlanta brought two more Chick-Fil-A Bowl press conferences to the media, this time featuring the coordinators and two players from each team.  And it turned into a mutual admiration society.

LSU considers Clemson quarterback Tajh Boyd as comparable to Heisman Trophy winner Johnny Manziel.  Clemson sees LSU as an offense that can plow right thru you.

Both sides heaped accolades on one another while also going in depth about some of their key players.

LSU defensive coordinator John Chavis, a Dillon native, couldn’t say enough about his star linebacker Kevin Minter.  And Clemson offensive coordinator Chad Morris talked about his close relationship with Boyd.  He also confirmed plans to have Sammy Watkins more involved in the game plan.
