Clemson secondary will be thin against LSU (AUDIO)

Clermson will have two defensive backs out against LSU

Clemson won’t have cornerback available for the Chick-fil-A Bowl against LSU. Dabo Swinney announced Wednesday that Bashaud Breeland will miss the game because of a groin injury. It’s the same injury that has hampered him most of the season and the one that kept him off the field in the season finale against USC.

“He had practiced some this month with the hope of getting him ready to play against LSU, but it is apparent he will not be well enough to play in the Chick-fil-A Bowl,” said Swinney.

Breeland is a sophomore and started five of the first seven games before his injury. He is scheduled to have surgery Thursday.

Clemson will be thin in the secondary because defensive back Darius Robinson will also miss the bowl game because of an ankle injury he suffered in the regular season.

Two weeks before the game and excuses are coming in already?!?!

If I was one of those kids, I’d fake pain too, just to keep from getting the blame for this impending disaster
