ATH Tramel Terry of Goose Creek, who suffered a knee injury on the opening kickoff of the Shrine Bowl, confirmed Monday that he has been told he has a torn ACL.
“From the test they did, I did tear my ACL,” Terry tweeted Monday afternoon.
He will receive his MRI results Thursday night and plans to go directly to Athens, GA to led Georgia’s team doctors handle it. Terry is a Georgia commitment and will enroll in January.
Terry, who won the Mr. Football award in South Carolina for this season, went down without contact on the opening kickoff. He was making a cut and his cleats appeared to stick in the grass.
