Floyd among three suspended by Michigan for bowl game

Former JL Mann standout DB JT Floyd and two other Wolverines were suspended for the Outback Bowl Sunday by Michigan coach Brady Hoke.  Punter Will Hagerup and linebacker Brandon Hawthorne also were suspended for a violation of team rules.

Floyd is a starting cornerback and Hagerup is the top punter.  Hawthorne is a backup. Floyd is sixth on the team in tackling with 48.  He has one tackle for loss and 5 passes broken up.  Hagerup is averaging 45 yards per punt.

The three will not travel to Florida with the team for the game.
