All last week Phil Kornblut was in Myrtle Beach keeping an eye on things regarding the North-South All-Star football game. Friday night SportsTalk broadcast live from the Mr. Football award banquet. A slew of coaches from the college ranks were in attendance, including USC receivers coach and recruiting coordinator, Steve Spurrier Jr. He sat down with Korn for a bit to update us on what’s been going on with the Gamecock football program lately.

Spurrier Jr provided much insight Friday night into Marcus Lattimore’s football future, the status of receiver Bruce Ellington as a two-sport star at USC, whether Ace Sanders will return for his senior season, and of course, tells us where things stand for the 2013 recruiting class.
