Goose Creek star Tramel Terry began his Friday by signing scholarship papers with the University of Georgia in a ceremony at hi school.  He ended his day by taking home the Mr. Football Award during an awards ceremony at Myrtle Beach High School.

Terry, a multi-position standout for the Gators, won the award over TL Hanna linebacker Ben Boulware, Strom Thurmond running back Darius Hammond, receiver Akia Booker of Byrnes and athlete Mykal Moody of Conway.

This season Terry totaled 1861 all purpose yards and 24 touchdowns.  He rushed for 841 yards and had 818 receiving yards.

Terry’s selection snaps USC’s run of four straight years of signing Mr. Football and he joins AJ Greene of Summerville as award winners to sign with Georgia.
