All stars moving forward with practice sessions at the beach (AUDIO)

QB Devin Pearson of South Pointe fires a pass in Tuesday’s North team practice

The North-South All Star football teams  reach the halfway point in practice Wednesday.  The North is dealing with injuries on the offensive line.  as Taylor Chambers of Irmo and Kerry Williams of Gaffney suffered knee injuries Tuesday but both are expected to play Saturday.

The teams will be using new offensive rules this time. The offenses will be limited to five formations and three have to include a tight end.  And a running back always has to be part of the formations.  The new rules were put into place to put more emphasis on the players’ play making ability and not so much on teaching new formations in a short week.
