Muy Bueno: Gamecocks go two for two in Mexicio

USC wrapped up play in the Hoops for Hope Classic in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico Sunday night with a 74-62 win over Arkansas-Little Rock.  The Gamecocks built a big, early lead and had a 39-22 halftime advantage.  They kept that double digit spread throughout the second half to improve to 4-1.  The Gamecocks defeated Missouri State Saturday night.

Five Gamecocks scored in double figures with Brenton Williams leading the way with 17 points off the bench.  LaShay Page added 16.  Lakeem Jackson had his second double-double of the season with 10 points and 15 rebounds. The Gamecocks won the rebounding battle by 15 and shot over 56% for the game.

The Gamecocks play at St. John’s Thursday night as part of the SEC-Big East Challenge.
