1st Quarter Recap: It’s scoreless but USC is at the two

Shaw was under constant pressure in first half

USC started on defense without defensive end Jadeveon Clowney who did not dress due to his foot injury.

USC forced a three and out from Wofford on the opening possession and the Gamecocks drove into Terrier territory.  On third down from the 33, Connor Shaw was flushed out of the pocket to his right and threw back to the middle of the field. He was picked off at the 12 by Alvin Scioneaux.

As the quarter expired, USC was knocking on the door with a drive that has that at the Wofford two yard line.

End of quarter…0-0
