Coastal RB Jeremy Height set the Chanticleer record for single season all-purpose yards Saturday

Week 10’s college football slate was lighter than usual for South Carolina schools, as Furman, Presbyterian, and South Carolina State all enjoyed open dates.  Saturday was not short on drama, however, as Wofford was upset 24-17  in double overtime by Samford, and Charleston Southern saw their 3-game win streak snapped in a 26-12 loss to Liberty.  On a positive note, Coastal running back Jeremy Height set the school’s single season record for all-purpose yards in the Chanticleer’s wild 55-33 victory over Gardner Webb, accounting for 1,225 yards so far this season, including 100 (65 rushing, 8 receiving, 27 kick return) yards Saturday.
