Sammy Watkins was booked by Clemson Police early Friday morning
Greenville television station WSPA is reporting Clemson star wide receiver Sammy Watkins was booked into a holding facility in Clemson early Friday morning. The Clemson Police department confirmed Watkins arrest, but declined to release the cause for the detainment.
According to the WSPA story:
Chief Dixon would only confirm Clemson University Police booked Watkins into the city’s holding facility.
Since Dixon’s department didn’t make the arrest, Dixon wouldn’t confirm why Watkins was arrested and said any additional information would have to come from the Clemson University Police Department.
