USC and Clemson hold steady in latest baseball polls

Ray Tanner and Jack Leggett's team rankings did not change

USC and Clemson’s national ranking is unchanged following their opening weekend of play. The Gamecocks swept VMI and remain second in Collegiate Baseball’s poll and third in the Baseball America ranking. Clemson, a winner of two of three in its series with UAB, is 25th in the Collegiate Baseball poll and 16th in Baseball America, the same place they were to start the week.

Florida won two of three against 19th ranked Cal State Fullerton over the weekend and continues to hold onto the top spot in both polls.

This week USC will play host to Elon for a three game series beginning Friday afternoon at 3:00 in Columbia. Clemson begins a home series with Maine Friday at 4:00.
