24th ranked Clemson opened its season with an easy 84-41 win over Presbyterian College before over 9000 fans Friday night at Littlejohn Coliseum. The Tigers hit 14 three pointers on the night. Tanner Smith led the Tigers with 14 points. Freshman Noel Johnson added 12 in his Tiger debute, and Trevor Booker scored 11 points. Zach Faircloth was high man for the Blue Hose with 14 points. The Tigers return to action Tuesday morning at Liberty. That game will tipoff at 10:00 AM and will be televised on ESPN.

The Tigers shot just under 42% from the floor, but they did make 10-13 from the foul line. And they were 14-30 from beyond the arc. The Tigers outrebounded the Blue Hose 43-29 and had 19 offensive boards.
