Clemson evened its ACC record at 1-1 with a 25-7 win over Boston College at stormy Death Valley Saturday afternoon. The game was delayed twice by lightening and most of the second half was played in a downpour. Play was held up for approximately two hours. On a day the Tigers did not score an offensive touchdown, the Tiger defense proved nearly impenetrable. Clemson allowed
just 55 total yards, the Tigers’s second best effort ever in an ACC game. They allowed just 41 yards to Virginia in 1963. The Tigers allowed just 25 passing yards, their fewest since holding Temple to 15 passing yards in 1991. The Tigers are 2-1 overall and will play host to TCU next Saturday at 3:30.
