You can toss those “LOU 2010” bumper stickers. Former USC coach Lou Holtz apparently isn’t going to make a run for Congress next year. The hall of fame coach was reportedly mulling a run for a Congressional seat out of the state of Florida. But at a golf tournament in South Bend, Indiana this week he told a local television station there that he is sticking with his day job at ESPN.

Holtz coached at USC from 1999 to 2004 and lead the Gamecocks to back-to-back Outback Bowl wins in 2000 and 2001.
