Former Clemson running back James Davis has signed a four year contract with the Cleveland Browns. The deal is reportedly worth about two million dollars. That includes an almost 100 thousand dollar signing bonus.
Last season at Clemson Davis rushed for 751 yards and 11 touchdowns. He is one of the school’s all-time leading rushers. Cleveland drafted Davis in the sixth round of the NFL’s April draft. He performed well at the team’s rookie training camp and offseason workouts and he has a chance to earn a significant role for the Browns this season.
